I do enjoy seeing my name in print so I have sent out queries - usually for articles I can write easily, or have already written in some form online. That way I don't get snagged by a quick deadline. It's taken me quite a while to finally decide where to put my focus. Right now, I split my time between paid blogging jobs and my own personal blogs, and it's working out well.
